This paddle feels fantastic right out of the box, which is something I really like. The significantly smaller paddle face compared to my old paddle took me a little bit to get accustomed to, but that was to be expected. It first seemed more powerful, solid, and consistent, which was the upgrade I was hoping for. The roughness produced great spin for the first month I used it, but it has gradually diminished.
